💡Aha! Moment
For years, I thought the loneliest seat was the corner office. After all, leadership can be isolating. But when I left corporate two years ago to become a solopreneur, I discovered the loneliest seat is often your own desk.
In those early days, I remember sitting there, realizing there was no one to call to help set up meetings, fix a computer issue, or draft a social post. In corporate life, there was always a team or resource. Now it was just me, my laptop, and a long to-do list.
Those days were hard—until I found the Entreprenista community. An amazing group of women who are there at every turn—with suggestions, guidance, encouragement, or simply a listening ear. They filled the gap and reminded me that success doesn’t have to be lonely.
Now, two years later, my life and business are full of people I can turn to for support, but I’ll never forget what those early days felt like.
My Aha: Success doesn’t have to be lonely—you just have to be intentional about building your table of support.

One Thing to Know
🏨 Event Essentials - Balancing Inspiration and Information
One of the biggest challenges in event design is avoiding speaker overload. It’s tempting to pack the agenda with as many voices as possible—after all, every speaker has something valuable to share. But too much back-to-back content can leave attendees overwhelmed, exhausted, and struggling to retain anything.
The best events strike a balance between inspiration and information. That means being intentional about pacing—mixing high-energy keynote sessions with smaller, interactive discussions, and building in breathing space where attendees can absorb, reflect, and connect with each other. Inspiration lights the spark, but information sustains the momentum. Put the two together, and you create an experience that actually sticks.
✅ Quick Checklist to Avoid Speaker Overload:
- Limit sessions to 45–60 minutes with breaks built in.
- Mix formats: pair keynotes with panels, roundtables, or networking.
- Leave intentional white space for reflection, conversations, or connection.
Worth asking: Are your events designed for attendees to thrive—or to just survive the agenda?

🏫 Learned - For my birthday this year, I decided to do something a little different—I had an Life Manual reading with Kate. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was curious. What I walked away with surprised me and gave me a lot to think about.
The clear message? Each of us is here to do a job. We are supported to do that job. And we are needed to do that job. My reading reflected that I carry both the energy of apple blossom (gentle, compassionate, full of possibility) and the fruit (success, reward, and harvest). It reminded me that one of my gifts is seeing potential—in ideas, in projects, and in people—and also seeing the support available to help that potential grow. The challenge, of course, is not getting swept up in drama or negativity, but holding firm to that vision of potential and support.
What I learned is that sometimes the greatest gift we can give—to our families, our clients, or ourselves—is to simply believe in the potential that’s already there. To stand firm, even when it would be easier to bend to toxic dynamics, and to trust that support will always show up when we’re aligned with what we’re meant to do.
✔️ Accomplished - Remember my recommitment to being healthier? This week, I took the first big step—I went back to Weight Watchers meetings. For me, it’s the one thing that has consistently worked. I’ve tried doing it on my own, but the truth is…I need the meeting.
There’s something about the accountability, the encouragement, and even just being surrounded by others on the same journey that makes all the difference. It reminded me that sometimes, the smartest move isn’t trying harder—it’s going back to the tools and support that have worked before.
🤔 Insight for the Week
Success is liking yourself, liking what you do, and liking how you do it.— Maya Angelou
❓A Question Worth Asking
Every week, I’ll leave you with one question—something I’m asking myself or my clients. Take it into your next team meeting, journaling session, or just a quiet moment.
Sometimes the loneliest seasons of life and work happen when we try to do everything on our own. What I’ve been reminded of recently is that potential grows best when it’s supported—by the right people, the right spaces, and the right energy.
🟡 This week’s question: If building your potential was a dinner party, who deserves a seat at the table—and who might need to stay off the guest list?
